Catholic Education Queensland Limited | CEQL Catholic Education Queensland Limited (CEQL) Catholic Education Queensland Limited | CEQL is the peak body representing Catholic education in Queensland. CEQL works with the five diocesan school authorities and 17 Religious Institutes and other incorporated bodies which operate Catholic schools within the state.
Following a 2024 governance review commissioned by the Queensland Bishops, CEQL replaced the Queensland Catholic Education Commission as the new peak body from 1 January 2026.
CEQL holds a state-wide strategic role focused on advancing Catholic education. It is led by an independent board supported by a central office. CEQL also draws on the wisdom and expertise within the Catholic education sector through a series of committees.
Catholic Secondary Principals Australia (CaSPA) Catholic Secondary Principals Australia (CaSPA) is the national peak body for Australia Catholic secondary school principals. CaSPA is a federation of State and Territory Catholic secondary schools' associations, representing Catholic secondary school principals.
Principals Australia Principals Australia was set up as the Australians Principals Associations Professional Development Council (APAPDC Inc) in 1993 at the national conference of the Australian Principals Associations, to provide support for principals in their own professional development. It brings together primary and secondary State, Catholic and Independent principals' associations. Principals Australia is owned by the four Australian peak principals' associations:

International Confederation of Principals (ICP) The ICP is a global association of school leadership organisations. It has over 40 members, made up of school leadership associations. Each member is itself a major organisation that supports the professional development and work of school leaders. The ICP represents over 135,000 school leaders across five continents and, as such, commands a unique global position as a major voice for school education. The ICP is non-political and non-sectarian.
